Job summary
Build and scale an AI agent platform that supports agent execution, context management, event streaming, and secure integration with internal services. Develop agent capabilities, APIs, observability, security, and cloud-native deployment systems, working across engineering teams. The platform runs on GKE and uses technologies including Python, Go, Kubernetes, MCP, and LLM frameworks.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining production backend systems.
- Strong Python expertise, including APIs, asynchronous programming, testing, and clean architecture.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM applications or AI agents, including tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluations.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with LLMOps, observability, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AI security practices, including authentication, access controls, and prompt-injection protection.
- Ability to own features end to end, work autonomously, and collaborate across teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the agent runtime, including execution, context management, and event streaming.
- Develop MCP tool servers, APIs, and secure integrations with internal data and services.
- Improve agent capabilities through memory, multi-model routing, durable execution, and LLM frameworks.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve tracing and evaluation.
- Develop APIs, service templates, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments.
- Implement security practices, automated evaluations, and regression testing.
- Own features from development through deployment and monitoring in collaboration with Data, ML, Platform, and Product teams.
