Junior DevSecOps Consultant (all genders)

Job summary

As a DevSecOps Consultant, you will advise clients on integrating security requirements into their DevOps workflows, ensuring security is considered from the start. You will work on IT security projects, implement cloud-native solutions, and maintain a dedicated IT system landscape for a Cyber Defense Center.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a degree in (business) informatics
• Initial professional experience in operating IT landscapes
• Knowledge in areas such as Linux and IT networks, container environments, and Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Automation of IT infrastructures and Infrastructure as Code, ideally in Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, preferably Python
• Very good German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel within D/A/CH

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting and support for clients on IT security projects in the DevSecOps environment
• Plan, implement, configure, and migrate leading cloud-native and cyber security solutions
• Ensure and maintain operations of a dedicated IT system landscape for a Cyber Defense Center based on Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux
• Take on on-call duties outside regular working hours as part of a defined on-call model
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues on modern IT concepts according to technical and security requirements
• Support project management with technical expertise in planning and defining work packages
