Job summary
Maintains on- and off-premises server and storage infrastructure supporting three police forces. The engineer documents and processes infrastructure changes, supports server and storage services, and provides on-call assistance with travel to sites when required. The role uses Microsoft Server and Hyper-V and/or VMware; experience with Linux or Solaris, storage systems, and network infrastructure is also relevant.

Qualifications
- Three years of practical server administration experience
- Two years of experience with Microsoft Server, Hyper-V and/or VMware
- Linux and/or Solaris server experience is desirable
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, switching, routing, firewall principles, and data traffic flows is desirable
- Experience supporting storage systems and technologies is desirable
- Strong communication, teamwork, flexibility, and time management skills

- Support ICT services for three police forces
- Provide on-call support and attend sites when required
