The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer serves as the highest level of technical escalation for infrastructure issues, focusing on servers, networks, virtualization, storage, security, and cloud environments. Key responsibilities include managing Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Kubernetes, while supporting LAN/WAN, firewalls, and disaster recovery efforts to enhance system resilience and performance.

Responsibilities
- Support and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN and wireless infrastructure
- Manage Windows Server, VMware and Microsoft 365 environments
- Support Kubernetes/containerised workloads
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Support storage, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and security
- Lead root cause analysis for complex incidents
- Act as the 3rd line escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support
- Support infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades
- Work with external IT suppliers and technology partners
- Mentor and support IT engineers across the team
