The 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer serves as the highest level of technical escalation for infrastructure-related issues, focusing on servers, networks, virtualization, storage, security, and cloud environments. Key responsibilities include managing Windows Server, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Kubernetes, while also supporting LAN/WAN, firewalls, and disaster recovery efforts to enhance system resilience and performance.

Responsibilities
- Support and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN and wireless infrastructure
- Manage Windows Server, VMware and Microsoft 365 environments
- Support Kubernetes/containerised workloads
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Support storage, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and security
- Lead root cause analysis for complex incidents
- Act as the 3rd line escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support
- Support infrastructure projects, migrations and upgrades
- Work with external IT suppliers and technology partners
- Mentor and support IT engineers across the team
