Job summary

Experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join the Tangerine Group Information & Systems Technology team. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure, acting as a senior technical escalation point, and supervising junior team members. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prioritize Systems Technology team workload to ensure delivery against agreed KPIs
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain servers and core infrastructure
  • Manage system availability, performance, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
  • Ensure cybersecurity best practice is embedded across all systems
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Support, coach, and develop 1st and 2nd Line colleagues
  • Provide hands-on technical support across hardware, software, and networks
  • Work with the Director of IT to recommend and deliver technology improvement projects
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Support UK and international sites as required
