(Senior) DevSecOps Engineer

Job summary

Design and operate secure, scalable platform capabilities for a Dev-as-a-Service platform supporting software, data, and AI-enabled application delivery. Build self-service developer workspaces, reusable Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud and container services on Microsoft Azure, with security automation and observability integrated throughout. Own assigned capabilities across their lifecycle and support platform consumers through onboarding, deployment, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud networking, identity, secrets, and policy controls.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and modular, version-controlled Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with developer workspace platforms such as Coder or comparable tools.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, artifact management, and secure software supply-chain practices.
• Scripting or software-engineering skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent.
• Ability to translate platform designs and requirements into secure, scalable, supportable solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues and collaborate across technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, integrate, and operate secure platform capabilities on Microsoft Azure.
• Build governed, reproducible, self-service developer workspaces.
• Develop, test, version, and maintain reusable Terraform modules and platform templates.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for application code, infrastructure, configuration, policies, container images, and deployments.
• Implement cloud networking, identity and access management, workload identities, secrets management, and policy controls.
• Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational automation.
• Own platform capabilities throughout their lifecycle, including documentation, support, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Support platform consumers with onboarding, development, deployment, and production readiness.
