Job summary
The System Administrator (Hybrid/DevOps) / Security Engineer role is essential for enhancing security and managing cloud infrastructure in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, designing security controls, and implementing data protection across EXSI and Azure, while leveraging technologies such as Azure, GitHub, Python, and Jenkins for automation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Security Engineering role for business-critical infrastructure
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, Proxy, IPS/IDS, and containerization
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development methodologies
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 solutions
- Experience with a variety of Linux systems
- Experience with VMware ESXi
- Strong security focus and knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
- Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Responsibilities
- Support L2 external and L3 internal enterprise network
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security scans
- Design and implement security controls for software and infrastructure
- Secure cloud platforms and services, implement data protection and encryption
- Build and maintain security monitoring and response processes
- Develop internal services and software for clients
- Collaborate with software development teams for security best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations
