Job summary

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role is essential for maintaining the reliability and performance of critical digital banking services. Responsibilities include defining SLIs/SLOs, building observability with tools like Dynatrace and Grafana, leading incident management, and optimizing microservices architectures and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE or DevOps roles with high-availability systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with Linux environments and troubleshooting
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Hands-on experience with AWS; Azure or GCP exposure is a plus
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Experience with AI/ML-driven reliability solutions
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Aurora, and RDS
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go

Responsibilities

• Define and implement SLIs/SLOs and error budgets
• Build observability using Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
• Leverage AI-driven insights for reliability issue resolution
• Lead incident management and postmortems
• Improve deployment safety with rollout strategies
• Support microservices architectures for reliability and scalability
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning
• Automate operational tasks and health checks
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipeline validations
• Own observability and AIOps stack for automation
• Maintain documentation and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations
• Analyze system performance and cost data
• Provide support during major incidents
