Job summary
Designs, builds, and migrates secure, compliant Azure environments for application and data-intensive projects, coordinating with architects, developers, data teams, and infrastructure stakeholders. The role configures Azure services including Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, and Data Lake; develops data pipelines; and automates infrastructure and CI/CD deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, YAML, and related tools.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of total experience, including 5+ years working with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS for data-intensive solutions.
- Experience designing and migrating data-intensive applications to Azure.
- Experience configuring Azure data services, databases, batch services, and networking.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience automating Azure deployments with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or PowerShell.
- Experience implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML and scripts.
- Degree in mathematics, computing, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to commute to the on-site location and lift up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess requirements and manage cloud environments with minimal guidance.
- Design, build, and implement Azure environments for applications, data teams, and DevOps.
- Configure Azure resources with security controls and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, data teams, and infrastructure support to resolve issues.
- Document work, track and prioritize tasks, and raise potential blockers.
