Job summary
Build and operate a data platform that turns Smart TV events, partner feeds, and logs into trusted, governed data products for advertising, content, partner, sales, and finance teams. The role covers batch and streaming ingestion, Python platform tooling, SQLMesh data models, data quality and privacy workflows, and AWS infrastructure, using technologies such as Snowflake, S3 with Apache Iceberg, Airflow (MWAA), and Terraform.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of data engineering or data platform experience with production pipelines.
- Strong Python skills and ability to write clean, tested, reusable code.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse.
- Experience with Apache Airflow; MWAA experience is an advantage.
- Experience with SQLMesh, dbt, or similar transformation frameworks and data modeling.
- Familiarity with Apache Iceberg, Parquet, Spark, AWS Glue, or EMR.
- Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Kinesis, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
- Commitment to data quality, testing, and observability.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and improve batch and streaming ingestion pipelines for TV events, partner feeds, and logs.
- Contribute to the Python data platform SDK, CLI, templates, local development environment, and CI/CD.
- Build and maintain SQLMesh models across core, production, analytics, and reporting data products.
- Maintain data contracts, audits, freshness SLAs, lineage, metadata cataloguing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Own GDPR deletion pipelines, consent data, and PII handling with auditability and fine-grained access controls.
- Manage AWS data platform infrastructure using Terraform or Terragrunt.
- Optimize performance and costs across Snowflake, Spark and Glue jobs, and storage.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, backend, advertising technology, and business teams to design data solutions.
