DevSecOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The Shared Service Delivery (SSD) department is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to manage and operate complex Kubernetes-based environments. This role involves developing and operating secure container image lifecycles, contributing to an observability platform, and ensuring compliance and auditability of components. The position requires a strong focus on security and collaboration with the architecture team for complex environments.

Qualifications

• Completed IT-related studies in computer science, business informatics, or comparable MINT degree programs
• Minimum 8 years of Kubernetes experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in CI/CD
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud operations (on-premise/public cloud)
• Minimum 5 years of Secrets Management experience
• Excellent knowledge in Kubernetes security
• Excellent knowledge in building highly available and fail-safe solutions/environments
• Excellent knowledge in container image hardening and CVE scanning
• Excellent knowledge in security auditing and compliance
• Excellent knowledge in logging
• Excellent knowledge in observability
• Excellent knowledge in identity management and backup solutions

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate complex Kubernetes-based environments
• Contribute to the architecture of complex environments
• Develop and operate secure container image lifecycles, including procurement, CVE scanning, hardening, release, and delivery in Kubernetes-based environments
• Develop and operate an observability platform (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• Co-responsible for CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure compliance and auditability of all deployed components
• Maintain a strong focus on security
