Job summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer builds and maintains the engineering foundation for mission-critical Workforce Authentication platforms based on Microsoft Entra ID, supporting secure, reliable service delivery at scale. The role designs Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, automates infrastructure and releases using practices such as Infrastructure as Code, and advances site reliability through monitoring, incident response, and operational tooling in a regulated enterprise environment.

Qualifications
- Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code; Terraform knowledge is an asset.
- Experience with production release management, monitoring, observability, incident response, and SRE practices.
- Understanding of secure software delivery and DevSecOps principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex platform and deployment issues across application, infrastructure, identity, and cloud environments.
- Experience with enterprise IAM or authentication technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, MFA, Conditional Access, or passwordless authentication is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Entra ID and Workforce Authentication services.
- Automate platform configuration, deployment, validation, and release activities.
- Develop reusable deployment patterns and adopt Infrastructure as Code and configuration-as-code practices, including Terraform where appropriate.
- Support releases across development, test, and production environments, including automated testing, validation, rollback, and documentation.
- Build monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational automation for service health and reliability.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem management.
- Develop operational tooling to improve resiliency and reduce repetitive work.
- Work with IAM engineers to automate and operate Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory capabilities.
- Apply security-by-design principles to CI/CD, infrastructure automation, secrets handling, and platform operations.
