Job summary
Deliver GitLab Professional Services engagements for enterprise and public-sector customers in cleared environments. Administer GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated, migrate platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and SVN, and design CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and compliance integrations. The role also deploys GitLab Duo and the Duo Agent Platform, leads customer workshops and cutovers, and provides documentation and knowledge transfer under defined statements of work.

Qualifications
- At least 8 years of hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience.
- Production experience administering GitLab Self-Managed or Dedicated.
- Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication, customer meeting leadership, and ability to work to a defined scope.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Active DoD clearance held directly by the candidate at application; at least Secret is required and Top Secret is preferred.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP, or Azure in DevSecOps environments.
- Preferred experience supporting federal, defense, or intelligence community programs.
- Preferred experience with GitLab Duo, DAP, agentic AI, AI-assisted development adoption, security scanning toolchains, STIG compliance, or cATO frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, back up, restore, and administer GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated environments.
- Manage users, groups, runners, Geo replication, and platform performance.
- Lead enterprise migrations from GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and SVN using Congregate or direct transfer.
- Deploy GitLab reference architectures.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with SAST, DAST, dependency, and container scanning and compliance integrations.
- Configure GitLab Duo Agent Platform agents and flows, enable AI-assisted development workflows, and advise on governance and adoption.
- Deliver customer advisory, documentation, workshops, cutovers, secure-environment deployments, and knowledge transfer.
- Scope and estimate engagements and deliver work on schedule under defined statements of work.
