Job summary
The Platform Engineer builds and supports secure, scalable Azure cloud platforms for modern applications, with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The role automates infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Helm; applies security and DevSecOps controls; and monitors platform reliability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and automation or scripting.
- Experience implementing CI/CD, GitOps, and configuration management with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Argo CD, Flux, SonarQube, or Artifactory.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, RBAC, networking fundamentals, and enterprise storage.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support AKS platforms and associated Azure infrastructure.
- Automate platform provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Helm.
- Implement security, compliance, and operational practices, including RBAC, Managed Identity, secrets management, and DevSecOps controls.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize platform performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions.
