Job summary

Seeking a skilled and proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a technology team. The role focuses on maintaining the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of systems and infrastructure, while supporting continuous improvement and automation initiatives. The SRE will collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure high system availability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible is advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and improve system reliability, availability, and performance
  • Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, and production environments
  • Automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tooling
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and network-related issues
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management solutions
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning
  • Ensure systems follow security, compliance, and operational best practices
  • Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and scalability improvements
  • Contribute to documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge sharing
