Job summary

The Cloud Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains secure, reliable cloud infrastructure for a regulated financial-services environment. The role automates networking and provisioning across GCP and AWS with Terraform, embeds Policy as Code in CI/CD pipelines, configures infrastructure monitoring, and applies findings from Post Incident Reviews to prevent repeat failures and reduce operational toil.

• Practical experience in a platform engineering role using code and automation to solve operational challenges.
• Hands-on GCP experience and exposure to AWS, including cloud routing, Shared VPCs, Transit Gateways, NAT, load balancing, firewalls, and DNS.
• Production-grade Terraform proficiency, including reusable modules, remote state, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience implementing Policy as Code tools such as OPA, Sentinel, or tfsec in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in regulated environments, such as financial services, and understanding of granular IAM.
• Experience contributing to Post Incident Reviews.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain multi-cloud networking across GCP and AWS, including VPCs, routing, hybrid connectivity, and secure ingress and egress.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and automate infrastructure provisioning, state management, and deployment pipelines.
• Integrate Policy as Code tools into CI/CD pipelines to detect and block security misconfigurations.
• Configure automated log ingestion, metric collection, and threshold alerts using cloud and open-source monitoring tools.
• Establish secure landing zone primitives and infrastructure standards for autonomous AI agent execution.
• Contribute to Post Incident Reviews and build automation to prevent repeat failures, reduce operational toil, and improve reliability.
