Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Advisory AI Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development of large-scale infrastructure for AI model deployment and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
• Expertise in computer systems and cloud computing architectures
• Experience managing multi-node distributed GPU clusters
• Expert-level Linux system administration
• Proficiency in Python and another systems language
• Experience with AI-specific hardware and software stacks
• Track record managing high-performance computing environments
• Strong architectural thinking and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term infrastructure strategy for AI workloads
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to infrastructure engineers
• Design and own the platforms for deploying and managing AI models
• Architect and maintain automation pipelines for AI model training and deployment
• Partner with data scientists and product managers
• Lead efforts to optimize AI infrastructure
• Establish security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Own capacity forecasting and cost optimization
