Job summary
The AI and Data Platform Engineer designs, administers, and optimizes cloud data and database platforms while enabling secure AI adoption across business, football, and stadium operations. The role supports Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services, SQL Server and cloud databases, APIs and ETL pipelines, analytics, and AI applications including Retrieval-Augmented Generation. It also advances data governance, security, integrations, and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience in database administration, systems administration, cloud platforms, or related technology roles.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI adoption, and AI governance.
- Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Understanding of lakehouse and medallion architectures, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and data mesh or data product concepts.
- Experience developing and supporting APIs, integrations, ETL processes, and enterprise workflows.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and enterprise cloud architectures.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, retention, and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must complete pre-employment forms and pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Administer enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI Services.
- Evaluate and implement AI use cases with business units.
- Support AI training, prompt development, adoption, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Design, administer, monitor, optimize, and maintain databases and data repositories.
- Manage SQL Server and other databases supporting business-critical applications.
- Support database migrations to platform-as-a-service and cloud-native services.
- Develop and maintain APIs, data pipelines, ETL processes, and automation workflows.
- Integrate enterprise applications, cloud services, databases, and AI solutions.
- Enable secure access to structured and unstructured data for analytics and AI.
- Maintain data quality, classification, retention, and lifecycle practices.
- Implement security controls and support governance, compliance, audits, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance on data architecture, AI adoption, and systems modernization.
- Support stadium operations, special events, training camp, and game-day technology.
