AI Automation Engineer-5

Job summary

Build and maintain AI automation for recurring Strategy, Portfolio, and Governance reporting, turning ad hoc requests into repeatable tools and workflows. Develop Claude Skills and plugins, MCP server integrations, and automated data pulls and spreadsheet reconciliations across Workday, ServiceNow, SharePoint/Microsoft 365, Slack, and Jira/Confluence. Publish compliant tools and apply access controls and data-handling guardrails for sensitive organizational, hiring, and vendor information.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience with Claude Code, Claude Skills, or an equivalent agentic coding assistant, including skill and plugin packaging.
• Working knowledge of MCP servers and OAuth/SSO authentication patterns.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet automation skills, including formulas, pivots, and reconciliation logic.
• Understanding of enterprise data classification and AI governance, including PII handling, RBAC, and guardrails.
• Ability to handle confidential organizational plans, headcount, hiring plans, and vendor financials discreetly.
• Strong written communication and ability to scope time-sensitive requests with an executive office.
• Preferred: Exposure to financial or budget analysis, vendor cost reconciliation, or contingent-workforce reporting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Preferred: Experience with an internal AI or automation platform, tool registry, or certification pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Claude Skills and plugins for recurring reporting and analysis.
• Automate data pulls and reconciliation across Workday, ServiceNow, spreadsheets, and SharePoint/Microsoft 365.
• Develop and register MCP server integrations for enterprise systems.
• Certify and publish skills and plugins through the registry, meeting taxonomy, metadata, and CI requirements.
• Apply RBAC and data-handling guardrails to protect sensitive organizational, hiring, and vendor information.
• Translate recurring and ad hoc requests into maintainable automation.
• Document each skill or plugin, including its purpose, inputs, outputs, data sources, and owner.
• Provide production support and maintenance.
