AI Automation Engineer - Remote

Job summary

The AI Automation Engineer at City of Hope will build and support technical solutions to automate workflows across clinical, research, and business functions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design AI solutions, integrating automation with various systems, and optimizing production automations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in process automation, software engineering, data science or related roles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Ecosystem, especially AI and Automation Platforms
• Experience with AI development tools
• Programming experience with scripting languages
• Data integration and API standards
• Cloud experience and familiarity with DevOps practices
• Experience working within enterprise governance processes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions to automate and enhance operational and clinical workflows
• Integrate automation solutions with EHRs, clinical systems, data platforms, and enterprise applications
• Contribute technical expertise to requirements sessions
• Monitor, support, and optimize production automations
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to integrate machine learning
• Contribute to automation standards, best practices, documentation, reusable components, and knowledge sharing
• Follow established policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality
• Perform other related duties as assigned
