AI Infrastructure & Robotics DevOps Intern (Mensch)

Job summary

You will be part of a team that trains, tests, and deploys AI on humanoid robots, focusing on CI/CD engineering, infrastructure management, and optimizing deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of Python and proficiency with Bash and Linux command-line tools
• Practical experience with Docker, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Ansible, uv/pip, Git Submodules, and LFS
• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, ROS 2, headless GPU simulation, or automated deployment on robots is a plus
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Curiosity about MLOps and maintaining efficient ML/robotics training pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Focus on developer experience
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in English and ideally also German

Responsibilities

• Design CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and GitHub Actions
• Manage runners, GPU workstations, and lab computers with Ansible
• Package internal libraries and controllers as versioned pip-installable packages
• Build and optimize Docker images
• Integrate NVIDIA Isaac Sim into CI
• Deploy validated artifacts to lab computers and physical robots
• Manage nightly training, evaluation, simulation, and integration runs
• Maintain repository hygiene
