AI & MLOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Job summary

The AI & MLOps Engineer role involves designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions that integrate AI and machine learning technologies for reliable and scalable deployment. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end machine learning pipelines, developing AI APIs and LLM-based applications, and utilizing Microsoft Azure for deployment and automation of AI and ML applications.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in developing, optimizing, and implementing production-grade AI, machine learning, or NLP applications
• Familiarity with developing AI and ML models and operating them successfully in production environments
• Practical experience with traditional data science techniques such as predictive modeling, forecasting, or recommendation systems
• Experience with frameworks for LLM application development, such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or Semantic Kernel
• Proficient in cloud-native AI and ML services, ideally in Microsoft Azure or alternatively AWS
• Very good English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize software solutions integrating AI and machine learning technologies
• Manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines including model management, testing, deployment, monitoring, and experiment tracking
• Implement AI prototypes into production
• Develop APIs and architectures for AI functionalities and data integration
• Utilize modern DevOps and MLOps practices for deployment and operation
• Support internal and external Data Scientists and Engineers with best practices
• Contribute to the evolution of architecture principles for AI and machine learning applications
• Evaluate new technologies and develop prototypes
