Job summary
Design and deploy AI solutions that improve customer and staff experiences across online, in-store, and phone channels for an Australian retail and ecommerce business. Key projects include an AI-first point-of-sale system and call-centre voice agents, with work spanning platform evaluation, integration with existing business systems, testing, documentation, and the wider AI transformation roadmap. The role uses conversational AI, LLMs, cloud platforms, and tools such as Salesforce Service Cloud.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience delivering AI products and solutions
- End-to-end commercial delivery experience with conversational chat or voice solutions
- At least 5 years of experience in Australian retail or ecommerce
- At least 5 years in technology engineering or AI/ML
- Experience with contact-centre platforms such as Amazon Connect, Salesforce Voice, or Twilio
- Proficiency with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Experience integrating AI chat and voice solutions with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce Service Cloud
- Experience with AI voice solutions and telephony platforms
- Experience with integration platforms such as Workato preferred
- Experience with SAP, Salesforce, UKG, Magento, or Shopify preferred
- Experience working with third-party vendors and delivery partners preferred
- Experience in a business with distribution centres or warehouses preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions
- Integrate business systems with AI platforms to automate and improve customer experiences
- Evaluate and recommend AI platforms and tools for retail and ecommerce
- Integrate AI solutions with existing business systems
- Document technical designs, integration architectures, and operational runbooks
- Apply relevant advances in generative AI and large language models
- Support quality assurance and testing of automated flows before launch
- Contribute to the business AI transformation roadmap
