AI Platform Engineer

Job summary

The AI Platform Engineer role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions to enhance customer engagement and staff platforms. Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in AI products and solutions
• End-to-end delivery of AI chat or voice solutions
• 5+ years in a retail/ecommerce environment in Australia
• 5+ years in a technology engineering or AI/ML role
• Experience with contact centre platforms like Amazon Connect or Salesforce Voice
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms — AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions
• Work closely with internal teams on system integrations
• Evaluate and recommend AI platforms and tooling for retail and ecommerce
• Integrate AI solutions with existing business systems
• Document technical designs and integration architectures
• Stay current with advancements in generative AI and LLMs
• Support QA and testing of automated flows
• Contribute to the AI transformation roadmap
