Job summary
EXL is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to manage the AI Gateway and Agent Builder platforms, ensuring performance and security.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps
- Experience with LLM gateway or AI observability platforms
- Familiarity with agentic AI platforms and low-code builders
- Understanding of LLM APIs and cost management
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization
- Experience managing SaaS or self-hosted platforms
- Experience managing vendor relationships and SLA tracking
Responsibilities
- Administer and operate AI Gateway and Agent Builder platforms
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for AI Gateway and Agent Builder
- Educate internal teams on AI Gateway and Agent Builder usage
- Manage platform health and uptime
- Own updates and version upgrades for platforms
- Manage vendor relationships with LiteLLM, Langfuse, and Lyzr
- Track and triage bugs and feature requests
- Monitor and report on platform usage metrics
- Stay current with developments in LLM gateway technologies
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams for compliance
