Job summary
The AI Platform Engineer at Int*** is responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure tools and integration services that enable AI capabilities across Network Services. This role involves leading integration efforts, mentoring engineers, and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and implementing infrastructure tool or service integrations in a complex enterprise environment.
- Advanced knowledge of API-based integration patterns, service interfaces, and platform connectivity approaches used to connect tools, workflows, and applications.
- Experience building or guiding reusable integration components, connectors, templates, and automation patterns to accelerate delivery and improve consistency.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure access patterns required for system-to-system and model-to-tool interaction.
- Experience enabling interactions between applications, infrastructure tools, automation platforms, and enterprise services through governed integration methods.
- Knowledge of infrastructure service design, interface dependencies, integration lifecycle considerations, and operational support expectations.
- Ability to evaluate and guide integration designs to ensure they are fit for purpose, scalable, supportable, and aligned to enterprise standards.
- Experience working across architecture, engineering, platform, security, and delivery stakeholders to align integration solutions with broader technical and operational needs.
- Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, resiliency, and supportability expectations for production-grade integration services.
- Experience decomposing complex integration objectives into actionable work items and guiding engineers through implementation activities.
- Familiarity with network and enterprise tools, infrastructure service domains, and the practical constraints involved in exposing those capabilities safely for downstream use.
- Strong knowledge of governance, standards, and controlled delivery practices in regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience creating or maintaining inventories, catalogs, or reference views of available integrations, interfaces, and reusable connectivity patterns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain integration designs, constraints, dependencies, and support models clearly.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and complex global environment with evolving priorities and multiple integration dependencies.
Responsibilities
- Confirm that business and technology requirements are translated into integration designs, interface definitions, reusable patterns, and implementation guidance aligned to enterprise standards and policies.
- Lead the design and deployment of integration capabilities that connect AI and automation solutions to enterprise and network tools, platforms, and services.
- Guide development of reusable connectors, templates, and integration components that improve speed, consistency, and scalability of solution delivery.
- Review and guide integration approaches to ensure they are fit for purpose, secure, supportable, and aligned to approved architectural and operational patterns.
- Mentor infrastructure engineering resources on integration methods, service interaction patterns, interface validation, and implementation practices.
- Contribute to the creation and selection of functional and non-functional requirements for infrastructure tools, interfaces, and integration services within and across domains.
- Help establish secure authentication and authorization patterns that enable governed model-to-tool or workflow-to-tool interaction.
- Review and guide evaluations of third-party or enterprise tools being considered for integration, onboarding, or broader adoption within the transformation ecosystem.
- Support maintenance of an integration catalog or reference inventory of available connectors, services, and interface patterns for reuse across teams.
- Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help resolve organizational impediments and cross-team blockers affecting integration delivery.
- Ensure implemented integration services meet expectations for monitoring, resiliency, performance, security, and operational supportability in production.
- Work closely with architecture, engineering, platform, and delivery teams to ensure integration execution remains aligned to transformation priorities and enterprise requirements.
