Job summary
The AI Platform Engineer develops and operates an internal AI hub based on Open WebUI for use across multiple software businesses, supporting a platform intended for 1,500 employees. The role builds integrations, container images, and deployment solutions; improves AI agent evaluation; automates cloud infrastructure; and manages releases, security, monitoring, and shared services such as Application Gateway, WAF, TLS, Redis, DNS, and network connections.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations, including responsibility for production systems
- Practical experience with LLMs and delivered AI solutions
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS
- Experience with an Infrastructure as Code tool such as Bicep, Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation
- Proficiency with Linux, Docker, Git, and CI/CD
- Experience with PostgreSQL and OAuth, SSO, or Entra ID
- Python skills beyond basic scripting
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges
- Fluent German and English
- Nice to have: experience with internal platforms and multi-tenant or multi-customer cloud environments
- Nice to have: familiarity with LLM frameworks, agents, MCP, or RAG
- Nice to have: experience with open-source projects
- Nice to have: French language skills
Responsibilities
- Develop integrations, container images, and deployment solutions
- Maintain and expand the catalog of AI tools, skills, agents, and integrations
- Improve evaluation systems for measuring and improving AI agents
- Automate and develop cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Assess new versions and technical changes, and publish stable releases
- Operate shared services including Application Gateway, WAF, TLS, Redis, DNS, and network connections
- Apply security patches and improve secure platform architecture
- Monitor availability, versions, deployments, and cloud costs across instances
- Create technical documentation, support onboarding, and build preflight checks and guardrails
