Job summary
The AI Platform Engineer leads the design, delivery, and adoption of AI-powered automations across business departments, translating operational problems into projects and enabling teams to maintain and extend the solutions. The role builds agents and workflows with n8n, Zapier, and Make, integrates Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI through APIs and custom backend services, and monitors automation performance, cost, and reliability while promoting secure data handling.

Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in an AI Platform Engineer position; B2B SaaS experience preferred.
- Production experience with n8n, Zapier, and/or Make.
- Strong Python or Node.js skills.
- Experience delivering production LLM-powered automations.
- Strong RESTful API and integration experience.
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems and manage delivery independently.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder skills.
- Solid Git knowledge.
- Recognised third-level qualification.
- Experience in Agile or Lean environments.
Responsibilities
- Translate business problems into actionable automation projects.
- Design and deploy AI agents and workflows with n8n, Zapier, Make, and custom backend services.

- Help departments maintain and extend delivered solutions.
