Job summary

As an AI Platform Engineer, you will design and manage AI platforms for LLM inference, data/vector stores, and modern AI workloads, ensuring they are automated, scalable, and compliant. Key responsibilities include automating platform operations using Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps, integrating AI components, and optimizing performance and costs while ensuring observability and security.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevSecOps/Platform Engineering in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience in operating distributed systems, including observability and security hardening.
• Familiarity with AI platform components: LLM inference, RAG, vector databases, and frameworks.
• Motivated to actively shape AI platforms and quickly learn new technologies; fluent in German and English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and operate AI platforms using Kubernetes, IaC, and GitOps.
• Integrate and configure AI components, optimizing performance and costs.
• Ensure observability and security for production environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architects, and AI teams on platform components.
• Develop and maintain managed services for platform operations.
