AI Platform Engineer (w/m/d)

Job summary

HENSOLDT is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to develop and maintain an Enterprise AI platform utilizing Large Language Models and other AI services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Experience in building or operating cloud, platform, or infrastructure systems
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience in MLOps/LLMOps and productive AI systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with GPU workloads or high-performance systems is a plus
• Structured and independent work style
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• Proficient in German and English

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI platform on Kubernetes
• Deploy and operate Large Language Models on GPU servers
• Establish and operate efficient model-serving and inference services
• Implement MLOps standards and enhance on-prem MLOps platform
• Create LLMOps workflows for productive GenAI services
• Containerize and deploy AI services with Docker and Kubernetes
• Scale and optimize GPU and CPU workloads
• Develop stable AI APIs and services for internal applications
• Establish monitoring, logging, and observability for AI systems
• Automate infrastructure, platform, and model releases
• Analyze and optimize performance, scalability, and stability
