Job summary
The AI Platform Engineering Lead is a senior technical authority responsible for defining the architecture and engineering environment for AI solutions. This role involves owning the technical configuration of platforms such as Databricks and Azure AI Foundry, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and providing expert guidance on AI workloads while mentoring engineers and establishing best practices to ensure compliance and security.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering generative AI, agentic, or machine learning solutions
- Demonstrated ownership of a shared engineering platform or developer environment
- Experience establishing engineering standards, CI/CD, and release governance in a regulated environment
- Track record of building a capability from the ground up
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the reference architecture for AI and agentic solutions
- Produce blueprints, reference implementations, and decision guides
- Establish platform and model selection criteria
- Lead architecture and design reviews for AI solutions
- Own the technical configuration, evolution, and operational health of AI platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code for AI workloads
- Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise standards for availability, monitoring, and disaster recovery
