Job summary
As an Amazon Dedicated Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to building the future of cloud computing by ensuring the reliability and security of our cloud infrastructure. This role involves investigating operational issues, working on service builds, and supporting customer cases, while developing deep technical expertise in a structured environment. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and interact with various engineering teams across Amazon.

Qualifications
- Currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
- Obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work
- 4+ years of highly scalable systems experience
- Experience in compute and storage server architecture and design for large scale applications
- Experience in managing or implementing system health, performance monitoring, capacity planning, or process improvement and automation
- Understanding of functional programming concepts
