Job summary

The Cloud Architect will industrialize and mature cloud platforms, serving as the technical reference for GCP and Kubernetes/EKS while guiding architecture decisions. Responsibilities include automating provisioning and operations with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines; evolving reusable EKS services; optimizing costs and security; and mentoring a team of 10 engineers across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of cloud engineering experience, with strong expertise in GCP and Kubernetes or EKS.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience industrializing large-scale cloud platforms and structuring complex environments.
  • Working knowledge of FinOps and cloud security.
  • Technical leadership, architecture decision-making, and ability to mentor peers.

Responsibilities

  • Industrialize and standardize the GCP platform, including provisioning and operations.
  • Automate and improve reliability using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Evolve the EKS service catalog with reusable, industrialized, self-service Kubernetes services.
  • Define and challenge GCP and Kubernetes architecture standards and technical decisions.
  • Lead FinOps and cost optimization across GCP and EKS.
  • Strengthen cloud security through IAM, control policies, and audits.
  • Explore and industrialize serverless, advanced Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.
  • Mentor and develop a team of 10 engineers.
  • Serve as the technical reference for GCP and EKS with internal teams and business stakeholders.
