Job summary

The solution architect designs technical architectures for applications and supports stakeholders from initial design through implementation within a banking IT infrastructure environment. The role produces HLD and LLD architecture documents, contributes to technology roadmaps and architecture governance, and promotes internal technology offerings. The environment includes GCP, Azure, hybrid and multicloud architectures, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware, and observability tools.

Qualifications

• Confirmed experience as a solution architect or technical architect, with a design and advisory approach.
• Experience with at least one public cloud, GCP or Azure; ideally both.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift and infrastructure as code, including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience preparing HLD and LLD architecture documents.
• Experience with hybrid environments combining on-premises VMware and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design application technical architectures that meet requirements and comply with security, integration, eco-design, and operational standards.
• Write HLD project architecture notes and LLD application architecture documents.
• Promote internal technology offerings to project teams.
• Identify application and business technology needs and communicate them to technology domain architects.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap for the application scope.
• Participate in architecture governance and community activities.
• Build in-depth knowledge of the business information system to support architecture design.
