Roc*** is seeking a passionate DevOps/Systems Engineer to join their Online Services Team in New York City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to write clear code
• Good understanding of operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and HTTP
• Genuine curiosity and an impulse to understand how things work
• Observant and detail oriented
• Capable of working independently and collaborating as part of a team
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Automate workflows and contribute to codebase in Powershell, C#, Python, and Go
• Build using Github, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and configuration management (DSC/Chef)
• Build and maintain Windows servers in a highly available environment
• Maintain and support .NET/ASP.NET web sites and services
• Build and support SQL Server failover clusters
• Manage VMware clusters, storage systems, and monitoring systems
• Perform root cause analysis through multiple infrastructure layers
