Job summary
Avanade is seeking an Associate Manager, DevOps Engineer to establish and facilitate CI/CD best practices, cloud/container-based orchestration, and automated testing strategies. This role focuses on Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tooling and the continuous delivery cycle to enhance agility and business value for teams and organizations.

Qualifications
- Three or more years of related work experience, preferably in technology or consulting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), quality assurance, and project management principles
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps, Azure App Insights, and Git
- Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Chef, or Puppet
- Familiarity with DevOps frameworks and architectures (e.g., ADOP, AMEP)
- Hands-on experience with scripting tools such as PowerShell and Grunt
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Services
- Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products and ecosystem
- Ability to work collaboratively with energy, drive, and dedication

Responsibilities
- Establish and facilitate CI/CD best practices
- Establish cloud and container-based orchestration
- Establish automated testing strategies
- Focus on Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tooling and continuous delivery cycle
- Help teams and organizations achieve agility and business value
- Assemble system components from internal and external development teams
- Coordinate testing, quality assurance, and customer support for product updates
- Maintain control over test and production systems and source code
- Create system builds for each platform, including automated installation scripts and procedures
- Document and formalize release engineering (RE) procedures for continuous review and improvement
