Associate Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Associate Platform Engineer is tasked with building and maintaining automation for cloud, network, and security operations. This role involves writing automation scripts, utilizing AI coding assistants for prototyping, and supporting infrastructure-as-code initiatives across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants to write and troubleshoot code.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), networking, or security concepts.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible, and Git version control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-managed and self-driven individual.

Responsibilities

• Writes and maintains automation scripts for cloud, network, and security tasks.
• Uses AI coding assistants to prototype, build, test, and debug solutions.
• Supports infrastructure-as-code work across cloud and on-premises systems.
• Converts repetitive manual tasks into repeatable automated workflows.
• Builds and maintains internal tools, dashboards, and utilities.
• Assists with cloud provisioning, firewall and DNS configuration, and vulnerability management.
• Documents solutions for maintenance and improvement.
