Job summary

As an Associate Service Reliability Engineer at Proofpoint, you will develop a deep understanding of infrastructure services and applications critical for delivering security products. You will manage production services across a hybrid cloud environment, improve automation, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance service reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build effective partnerships across the organization
• Organize and manage multiple projects
• Manage a 24x7 multi-site production infrastructure
• Root-cause complex problems involving multiple stakeholders
• Ensure monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and reporting
• Utilize AI coding assistants for infrastructure-as-code
• Contribute to design and architecture of scalable infrastructure
• Develop processes, tools, and documentation for operations
• Evaluate new software and infrastructure solutions
• Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues
