Job summary

The Payment Terminal Automation Engineer ensures the reliability, security, and performance of point-of-sale terminal solutions and payment switch integrations. Responsibilities include executing end-to-end testing on Android payment terminals, validating payment messages against ISO 8583 and AS2805 standards, and automating API test suites with Postman and Playwright, while integrating these into CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA engineering background in payments
• deep expertise in ISO 8583 and AS2805 message structures
• Expert-level knowledge of end-to-end POS transaction flows
• Solid understanding of payment switch architectures
• High proficiency with Postman for automated API testing
• Demonstrated success integrating automated test runs into CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive end-to-end testing across physical and smart Android payment terminals
• Parse and validate payment messages against ISO 8583 and AS2805 standards
• Design, automate, and execute REST/SOAP API test suites using Postman and Newman CLI
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure terminal configurations and switch integrations comply with card scheme mandates
