RBC is seeking an Automation Engineer to enhance the Sophis trading platform through AI-driven automation and testing.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years as a software developer or automation engineer
- Strong Python skills and comfort with SQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Exposure to capital markets or trading systems
Responsibilities
- Learn Sophis end-to-end
- Analyse benchmark production outputs
- Develop expertise in business logic and data flows
- Build AI-powered test generation
- Engineer containerised test environments
- Instrument pipelines with coverage and metrics
- Coordinate multi-team automation workflows
- Evaluate emerging AI tooling and automation patterns
