Cubic Digital Intelligence is seeking a Software Engineer II to focus on engineering automation, developer productivity, and AI-assisted software development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional software development or automation engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript/Node.js, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for software development and operational workflows.
• Build AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity.
• Develop automation using Python, Node.js, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Create and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Integrate AI services and large language models into engineering workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using tools like Ansible.
• Develop internal tooling and dashboards to improve engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies for engineering process improvements.
• Produce technical documentation and best practices for automation.
