AWS Cloud Engineer (m/w)

Job summary

Develop AWS Landing Zone using Infrastructure as Code and ensure cloud platform operation and support.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a (Senior) AWS Cloud Engineer
• Deep expertise in AWS services with a focus on multi-account architectures and governance
• Proven experience in IaC (Terraform, CI/CD, Python)
• Analytical thinking and understanding of complex IT architectures
• Strong communication skills for collaborative work with teams
• Fluent in German and knowledge of a second official language; English skills are a plus
• AWS certifications (Professional / Specialty) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop AWS Landing Zone using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Ensure operation and support of cloud platform (2nd-/3rd-level support)
• Evaluate and integrate new AWS services for cost efficiency, compliance, and scalability
• Manage and enforce IAM and security concepts (Guardrails, SCPs)
• Analyze and resolve security incidents and findings
• Empower development and specialist teams and support onboarding and migrations
