Job summary
This AWS Cloud Platform Engineer role focuses on managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines to deploy that infrastructure. The position acts as a bridge between tools and the cloud, ensuring secure and efficient connections between Microsoft's tools and Amazon's cloud. It also involves supporting application design, integration, and in-depth troubleshooting within the Enterprise Development Operations Organization.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for application development and support
- Knowledge of network and database troubleshooting
- Knowledge of detailed root cause analysis
- Prior AWS infrastructure experience
- Deep knowledge of IAM, VPCs, S3, and KMS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Experience supporting Databricks on AWS
- Deep proficiency in Azure DevOps (Agents, Artifacts, Pipelines, Releases)
- Strong experience with Terraform (managing state files in S3/DynamoDB)
Responsibilities
- Manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines that deploy infrastructure
- Ensure secure and efficient connection between Microsoft tools and Amazon cloud
- Represent Enterprise Development Operations Organization in application design, support, and troubleshooting
- Support activities related to integration of software programs and applications into information systems
- Plan and coordinate implementation of application modules developed by in-house and third-party teams
- Design AWS multi-account architecture for data platforms
- Configure IAM roles, instance profiles, and cross-account access
- Secure S3 data lakes for Unity Catalog external locations
- Manage VPCs, PrivateLink and security groups
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform
- Optimize AWS cloud costs
