Job summary

The AWS DevOps Engineer role is focused on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support data and analytics platforms using AWS tools. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering focused on AWS.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data and RDS Postgres, S3.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with AWS services for data and analytics.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion the selection of Data and Analytics platforms and tools.
• Engage with users and vendors for technology proof of concepts.
• Onboard new platforms and tools for effective adoption.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Configure and manage core AWS services.
• Support data engineering and analytics teams with cloud resources.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development.
• Ensure infrastructure security through IAM policies and encryption.
• Collaborate to improve infrastructure design and performance.
• Document infrastructure processes for transparency.
