AWS DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Scrumconnect is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale digital services within a complex cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple AWS environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Experience with React applications, microservices, AWS Lambda, and Kafka.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Understanding of AWS networking concepts.
• Experience administering IAM and security controls.
• Knowledge of API management platforms like Kong Enterprise.
• Experience with cloud governance and FinOps practices.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and management of AWS environments across development, test, staging, and production.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for React applications, microservices, AWS Lambda, and Kafka integrations.
• Support ETL processes and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.
• Implement secure networking patterns, including AWS Transit Gateway and PrivateLink.
• Manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Administer Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and IAM roles for development teams.
• Ensure AWS resources are tagged according to FinOps standards.
• Monitor system performance and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices.
• Support delivery of accessible digital services aligned with WCAG 2.2 AAA standards.
