AWS Engineer

Job summary

The AWS Engineer role involves designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions to address complex business challenges through integration and event-driven architectures. Key responsibilities include leading solution architecture definitions, enhancing serverless processing capabilities, and implementing robust API integrations, utilizing AWS Cloud Services such as ECS, EKS, and Lambda, along with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services
• Proficient in Java and Spring Boot
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience delivering Cloud Migration and Modernisation initiatives
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS
• Strong DevOps background with CI/CD pipeline experience
• Experience in automating build, test, deployment, and release processes
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
• Ability to deliver development and enhancement work independently
• Experience with system performance optimisation and security best practices
