Job summary
Seeking AWS Platform Engineers (Principal/Senior level) to design and build secure, regulatory-compliant AWS foundations and a Kubernetes-based cloud management control plane. This hands-on role focuses on multi-account AWS architecture, networking, security/IAM, and reusable Infrastructure-as-Code.
Qualifications
- Deep hands-on AWS platform engineering experience at enterprise scale
- Strong AWS network engineering including VPC design, Transit Gateway, routing, DNS, traffic segmentation
- Strong AWS security and IAM expertise, including identity federation and least-privilege design
- Expert-level Terraform and CI/CD pipeline experience (module design, automated testing, release workflows)
- Experience designing landing zones, guardrails, and golden-path patterns in regulated environments
- Python and/or Golang development experience
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Exposure to Kubernetes-based control planes and platform engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Design and build AWS landing zones across multi-account, multi-org estate
- Develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules in Terraform via CI/CD pipelines
- Implement automated guardrails and golden patterns for platform consumers
- Build secure ingress and egress patterns
- Standardise DNS, routing, and traffic segmentation
- Design and automate cross-cloud and intra-cloud connectivity
- Implement unified IAM model and privileged access management (PAM)
- Design secure landing zone baselines and enable regulatory-compliant architectures
- Contribute to the cloud management engine (control plane)
- Work as part of an agile squad
