Job summary
The Azure Cloud Engineer designs, deploys, and operates secure, scalable Microsoft Azure environments for client and internal projects. The role covers monitoring, incident resolution, performance and lifecycle management, cloud governance, and automation using Infrastructure as Code, HashiCorp Terraform, PowerShell, or Bash. The engineer also maintains CI/CD pipelines and works with architecture, security, and development teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Microsoft Azure engineering or operations experience
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Experience with HashiCorp Terraform
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, identity, and security services
- Understanding of cloud operations, monitoring, incident management, and platform reliability
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is an advantage
- Enterprise or regulated-environment experience is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Operate cloud environments, including monitoring, incident resolution, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code
- Contribute to Azure governance, security, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and development teams to deliver cloud solutions
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources according to best practices and organisational standards
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
