Azure Cloud Engineer

Job summary

The Azure Cloud Engineer designs, implements, and integrates cloud environments for clients hosted on Microsoft Azure, contributing to projects from requirements and deployment through security, compliance, systems engineering, and operational readiness. The role manages Azure services, protects customer environments, monitors performance and availability, and maintains Infrastructure as Code scripts, while supporting project teams throughout the customer lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure resources and their management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, OpenTofu, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic SQL Server knowledge.
• Familiarity with scripting and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good English proficiency; a second foreign language is an advantage.
• Ability to learn new cloud and Microsoft technologies quickly.
• Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
• Proactive approach to identifying customer issues and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure cloud implementations and services.
• Implement security measures to protect customer environments.
• Monitor Azure resources, address performance issues, and maintain infrastructure availability.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts for Azure environments.
• Support R&D, Sales, and Delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Pursue Microsoft certifications in Azure technologies.
