Job summary

Seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to implement and manage cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and VMware technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer (3–5+ years).
• Strong expertise in cloud computing and infrastructure management.
• Experience in cloud migrations using HCX.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of Azure analytics services like Azure Synapse and Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Partner Funding programmes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Azure Cloud VMware Solution (AVS) environments.
• Implement solution architecture blueprints including virtual machines and Azure databases.
• Configure and manage Azure Site Recovery and Traffic Manager.
• Set up and maintain Azure Load Balancer and API Gateway.
• Develop and manage Key Vaults and Logic Apps.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes using ServiceNow.
• Define and enforce governance using Azure Policy and RBAC.
• Monitor and optimize costs and performance.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Maintain and integrate on-prem systems including Active Directory and DNS.
• Support identity and access management in hybrid environments.
• Utilize VMware tooling including NSX-T and Aria Operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Work with JSON templates, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Configure monitoring solutions across Azure and third-party platforms.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Work with SIEM tools for security monitoring.
